Alternative Routes to a Teaching License

Interested in teaching, but don't have a Utah license? You might want to explore the Alternative Routes To Licensure program offered through the Utah State Office of Education.

Filing a Job Application

Please make sure that your application is complete with all questions answered, boxes checked, signed and dated and submit to Chris Keeler or Theresa Eason at the District Office, 2700 Kearns Blvd, Park City, UT 84060. You can mail or drop off, "Attn: Chris Keeler or Theresa Eason" or email at ckeeler@pcschools.us or theason@pcschools.us.

Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting is done by livescan at the district office 2700 Kearns Blvd. Appointments are required. Please contact Veronica Claridge at 435-645-5600 x1443 to schedule a livescan. If you schedule an appointment and do not show up, you will need to schedule another appointment. If no one answers the phone, please indicate you need to schedule a livescan and leave her your name and telephone number to call you back.

Please bring either cash or a check made payable to Park City School District to cover the Fingerprint fee.

• Resident of Utah for 5 plus years: $25.00
• Resident of Utah for less than 5 years: $41.50

Utah License Background Checks need to be paid on-line through the Utah State Office of Education, print the authorization letter and bring to your livescan appointment. The livescan cannot be done without this authorization letter. There is a $20 livescan fee if you are not an employee of the Park City School District.
