  • Named in 2015 the Top AP High School in Utah
  • Named in 2016 the Top two AP High School Students in Utah
  • Created full day preschool for 4-year olds
  • Lead two successful negotiations with certified staff after coming into a district that had been in Federal Mediation
  • Implemented PLC Model Districtwide with district benchmarking systems
  • Developed elementary computer coding program for all elementary children
  • Executed first all day kindergarten program for all kindergarten students
  • Implemented gifted and talented program in all elementary schools by placing a gifted and talented teacher for all students
  • Recognized internationally by the Spain and French Embassies for Dual Language programs being one of eight Label Franc Distinguished Schools and a distinguished International Spanish Academy in the United States.
  • Doubled the number of nurses in the district from 3 to 6 to address student health needs
  • Created new academic program for the Park City Learning Center through using the Summit Academy approach
  • Increased counselors and added social worker counselors to support families and students
  • Named to two national education organization boards that include AASA (The School Superintendents Association) and the Horace Mann Executive Board
  • Developed STEM programs in all elementary schools
  • Implemented dance specialist program in elementary to enhance learning through movement
  • Named the only Apple Distinguished Program in Utah for 2014-16 for implementation of its "one-to-one" initiative that supplies students (grades 2-12) with laptops to use in the classroom and to take home
  • Developed strategic relationships with city, county, and businesses to leverage community partnerships for greater student learning
  • Spearheaded legislation to make synthetic opioids illegal
  • Spoke for numerous national and state engagements around the opioid crisis and the attack on our children
