Volunteer Opportunities

Would you like to become a volunteer? Volunteering is fun and rewarding. Here are some programs in which you could volunteer:

  • Big Brothers/Big Sisters - daytime program: Become a Big Brother or Sister to a child in the PCSD. This only requires one hour per week around lunchtime. Contact Ericka Wells at 435-649-9366.
  • After School Tutoring Programs: Help kids get their homework done and provide a bit of tutoring, one or more hours per week. Programs at McPolin, Jeremy Ranch and Parley's Elementary Schools plus Ecker Hill International Middle School and Treasure Mountain International School. Contact the school in which you'd like to volunteer.
  • Adult ESL: Assist adults who are learning English as a Second Language in the evening, two to four hours/week. Contact Judy Tukuafu at 435-645-5600.
  • National Ability Center: Be a ski/snowboard partner for someone with a disability who's your own age. For more information call Jillian or Tracy 435-940-1596. More Information

Each school in the PCSD has volunteers helping students succeed. You can contact the school of your choice and talk to the principal about how you could help.
