Allow Extra Time Due to Road Construction Throughout District

road construction ahead traffic signDuring the next few weeks, please allow additional time to get to our schools due to new traffic patterns created by road construction projects. Because of the roundabout construction at Jeremy Ranch and the fact that district bus garage is located at Jeremy Ranch, please anticipate possible transportation delays at all schools this. A new path has been created between Homestead and Jeremy Ranch Elementary (along Bluebird Lane) to allow students to walk or bike to school safely.
Construction on Kearns Boulevard (high school tunnel) is not complete. The city has added a temporary signal/crosswalk near Park City High that will stop traffic in both directions to allow students to cross safely until the tunnel is open. Student drop offs and pick ups at the high school will occur at the Eccles Center (West Parking Lot) through the end of September.
If possible, please carpool for drop offs and pick ups at all schools to save traffic congestion. Thank you for your patience as we all navigate these construction projects this fall. We prioritize safety, not speed.
