  • The PCSD Board of Education posts an amended Policy 9051 on ‘Sensitive Materials in Schools’ for public input

Each public school district in Utah must have a ‘Sensitive Materials’ policy in place per House Bill 374, Utah code,  and Utah State Board of Education rule.  The PCSD Board of Education sent an updated draft of Policy 9051 ‘Sensitive Materials’ out to all staff and parents, and is seeking additional comment and feedback prior to its next regular meeting scheduled for October 18, 2022. PCSD Board has every intention of adopting a policy as required by law, and has sought an extension in order to allow for due diligence and community input on this important policy.
