The Park City School District and its Board of Education stand in solidarity with the Granite School District Board of Education and joins the Joint Legislative Committee as well as the Governor’s Office in its statement supporting and championing overall health, wellness and well-being of Utah’s students. As elected and appointed officials, it is incumbent upon us all to model care for every child and to create the conditions for safety within the learning environment. It is unconscionable for an elected state official to demean and bully a child on social media and endanger the safety and well-being of Utah’s students.  This behavior is deserving of formal censure up to and including removal from office as a member of the Utah State Board of Education.
