Yesterday afternoon, a parent reported that an XXXXX student was exhibiting XXX symptoms (ex: abdominal issues including severe diarrhea. )
While we do not believe the school is the source of the illness, we have taken precautionary measures including deep cleaning classrooms and common areas. Additionally, hand sanitizers have been placed in every classroom and staff have specifically educated students on effective hand-washing practices in their classes.
Public health officials remind us that effective hand washing is the best way to avoid transmission of illness. We encourage all families to review the attached hand washing techniques and contact the school nurse if they have any questions or concerns.
