Background Checks
All new employees are required to complete a background check through an electronic fingerprinting process.
Education Support Professionals
- New employees will need to schedule a background check with our office. The background check must be reviewed and cleared by the State Agency prior to starting employment. The fee is $50 made payable by either cash or check to the Park City School District.
New Licensed Employees
- If you do not hold a current Utah teaching license, you will need to register for a background check through the Utah State Board of Education (USBE). Once registered, you will receive an authorization form via e-mail that will need to be brought to your background check appointment. At this point, you will need to schedule a background check with our office. The background check must be reviewed and cleared by the State Agency prior to starting employment. The Park City School District will waive the $20.00 processing fee as indicated on the printout from USBE.
Current Licensed Employees
- You will need to register for a background check through the USBE. Once registered, you will receive an authorization form via e-mail that will need to be brought to your background check appointment. At this point, you will need to schedule a background check with our office. The Park City School District will waive the $20.00 processing fee as indicated on the printout from USBE.
Non Park City School District Employees
- The Park City School District is authorized to perform fingerprints for Weilenman School of Discovery and educators licensed through the state of Utah seeking to renew their license. All patrons under this category requesting to be fingerprinted must:
- Provide appropriate authorization documents from Weilenmann or USBE
- Provide a valid driver’s license at the time of your appointment
- Pay the required fee in either cash or check made payable to the Park City School District ($50 for Weilenmann or $20 for USBE)
