Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is now open
New Student Enrollment is for students who are NOT currently enrolled in the Park City School District, including:
- Students who just moved to Park City.
- Students who already live in Park City but will be attending a PCSD school for the first time.
- Former PCSD students who are re-enrolling after having withdrawn from PCSD.
If you have further questions, please contact the District at enrollment@pcschools.us.
Non-Residents
If you are not a Park City School District resident (boundary map), and you are interested in enrolling your child in a Park City School District school, you will need to apply for an out of boundary exemption and be approved through the open enrollment process. Please s refer to policy 10010 Student Enrollment for more information. Please contact Lorie Pearce, lpearce@pcschools.us for the most up-to-date information.
Preschool
If you received confirmation that you were awarded a spot in the preschool lottery, please use the New Student Enrollment link to register your student. If you did not apply through the lottery process, please contact Dena Housel at dhousel@pcschools.us to check availability in the preschool program.
Charter School Students Enrolling in the District
If you currently live within the PCSD boundary, and your student is now attending a local charter school (Weilenmann School of Discovery or the Winter Sports School), and you would like them to enroll in the Park City School District for the following school year, you must notify PCSD in writing or submit an open enrollment application no later than June 30.
New Student Enrollment Process
This is the enrollment process for students who are NOT currently enrolled in the Park City School District.
Step 1: Gather required documents.
Have the following required documents prepared to upload during the online process:
- Age Verification Documentation: Birth Certificate (certified copy)
- Immunization Record or Exemption Documentation: See the Immunization Requirements page.
- Custody Documentation (if parents are divorced or child is not living with a parent–see Guardianship).
- Completed Vision Screen Form. VISION SCREENING CERTIFICATE (Required for kindergartners)
- Proof of Residency: See the Proof of Residency policy for a list of acceptable documents (“resident” is an individual who is in the state for other than a temporary or transitory purpose).
- THREE proof of residency documents MUST INCLUDE:
- The physical home address where the student and parent/legal guardian live (not a PO Box), and
- The parent/legal guardian’s name (if divorced, it’s the primary custodial parent or the custodial parent with whom the student lives the most; legal guardians must be appointed by the U.S. court system), and
- Be dated as appropriate for the type of document.
- THREE proof of residency documents MUST INCLUDE:
- Unofficial Copy of Student’s Transcript: Required for students enrolling in grades 9-12 (TMJH and PCHS). High school transcripts must include all credits completed in grades 9-12 to date. Parents are responsible for providing this AT THE TIME of enrollment–this is required for class placements. Park City schools will request official records from the previous school AFTER the student is enrolled.
- Copy of Current Grades and School Withdrawal Form: Required for students enrolling in grades 8-12, if transferring during the school year. The withdrawal form should show the date the student withdrew from their previous school, and the student’s classes and grades at the time of their withdrawal.
NOTE: If the required documents cannot be provided or if you have questions or need assistance with the online enrollment process, please contact the District Registrar at enrollment@pcschools.us.
Step 2: Complete online enrollment.
If you need assistance or would like to set up an appointment, please email enrollment@pcschools.us.

Optional Student Insurance Information
The safety of our students is of critical importance to all of us and we want to protect them from injury. Even so, accidents do happen (at school and elsewhere) and required medical care can be expensive. Please know that your school does not assume responsibility for such costs but does offer you access to several student accident insurance plans for voluntary purchase.
