Giddings Hits a High Note: Park City Educator Named Utah’s Best

PARK CITY, Utah — The Utah Music Educators Association has named Zachary Giddings as the Outstanding Middle School/Jr. High Educator of the Year, honoring his significant contributions to music education within the Park City School District.

Giddings serves as a cornerstone of the district’s performing arts department, overseeing the band program for students in grades 6 through 12. Colleagues describe him as the heart and soul of the program, noting his dedication to helping students reach their full musical potential.

The annual award recognizes educators who demonstrate excellence in the classroom and a commitment to advancing music education across the state. Giddings was selected for his leadership and the lasting impact he has made on the Park City student body.
