PARK CITY, UT – Park City High School has once again demonstrated the power of community and compassion, this time rallying for Chloe, a student battling leukemia. The school's annual tradition of supporting a child with a terminal illness through fundraising efforts culminated in a remarkable achievement during this year's Wish Week, held from March 25 to March 29.

This special week featured various creative fundraising activities organized by the Student Council, aimed at granting Chloe's Make-A-Wish dream of visiting Texas to reunite with her family. Among the innovative events was "Pies for Positivity," where students could pay to pie Student Council representatives in the face during lunch breaks. Additionally, students ventured beyond the school premises, standing outside grocery stores to encourage the community to contribute to the cause. 

A key strategy in reaching their goal included the widespread distribution of QR codes throughout the school, linking to a donation page, along with emails sent to parents soliciting contributions. This multifaceted approach not only engaged the student body but also the wider Park City community.

The effort surpassed all expectations, with the school raising a total of $11,645, more than doubling their initial goal of $5,000. This achievement marks the highest amount the high school has raised in years for a single cause, showcasing the dedication and spirit of its students and staff.
