Park City School District Announces the "We All Belong Kindness Award"

Park City, UT—The Park City School District (PCSD) is dedicated to ensuring that every member of our community feels valued and connected. In alignment with our core values of inclusivity and respect, we are excited to launch the "We All Belong Kindness Awards" in partnership with the Park City Community Foundation and the Park City Education Foundation (PCEF). 

The “We All Belong Kindness Award” demonstrates our shared commitment to fostering positivity in our schools and community. The initiative aims to celebrate our students' and educators' kindness and leadership in creating an environment free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination.

"Leadership often comes unexpectedly, and this award celebrates that,” said Caleb Fine, Park City School District Interim Superintendent. “We look forward to the stories of kindness these efforts will inspire. Each small step has a big impact."

"My hope is that this award creates a ripple effect, where the values of kindness and inclusivity are not just taught but are lived and experienced across our community, shaping a more compassionate future for all," said Joel Zarrow, Park City Community Foundation as President and CEO. 

“As an organization deeply committed to equity and inclusion, supporting this award was a natural fit,” said Ingrid Whitley, Park City Education Foundation President and CEO.“It’s crucial for us to foster an environment where every student not only feels included but valued."

El Distrito Escolar de Park City anuncia el "Premio de Amabilidad - Todos Pertenecemos"

Park City, UT—El Distrito Escolar de Park City (PCSD) está comprometido a garantizar que cada miembro de nuestra comunidad se sienta valorado y conectado. En alineación con nuestros valores fundamentales de inclusión y respeto, nos emociona lanzar los "Premios a la Amabilidad We All Belong" en colaboración con la Fundación Comunitaria de Park City y la Fundación Educativa de Park City (PCEF).

El “Premio de Amabilidad - Todos Pertenecemos” refleja nuestro compromiso compartido de fomentar la positividad en nuestras escuelas y en la comunidad. Esta iniciativa busca celebrar la amabilidad y el liderazgo de nuestros estudiantes y educadores en la creación de un entorno libre de intimidación, acoso y discriminación.

"El liderazgo a menudo surge inesperadamente, y este premio lo celebra," dijo Caleb Fine, Superintendente Interino del Distrito Escolar de Park City. "Esperamos con entusiasmo las historias de amabilidad que estos esfuerzos inspirarán. Cada pequeño paso tiene un gran impacto."

"Mi esperanza es que este premio cree un efecto dominó, donde los valores de amabilidad e inclusión no solo se enseñen, sino que se vivan y se experimenten en toda nuestra comunidad, moldeando un futuro más compasivo para todos," expresó Joel Zarrow, Presidente y Director Ejecutivo de la Fundación Comunitaria de Park City.
