PARK CITY, Utah – The Park City High School (PCHS) Robotics Club wrapped up a successful season, with five teams—Robominers, Calamity, Fulcrum, Minerva, and Aviators—demonstrating innovation and teamwork despite challenges such as funding constraints and technical hurdles.
On March 1, PCHS teams competed in the 24-team Utah State Championship, aiming for a spot at the FIRST World Championship in Houston or a Premier Event. The club’s all-girls rookie team, 10695 Minerva, captained the finalist alliance and secured a place at a Premier Event in April.
With the upcoming out-of-state competition, the team is actively fundraising to cover travel and event costs. A fundraising campaign, organized by Dina Owens, is helping support their journey.
The club also extends deep appreciation to Sheri and Matt Prucka for their mentorship and ongoing commitment to the program.
