PCHS Students Need Your Vote: Help Them Compete for $30,000 in the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge!

Park City, UT – Four innovative teams from Park City High School have made headlines by landing in the top 20 of the 2025-26 Tim Draper High School Utah Entrepreneur Challenge. Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship as recognition for their creative projects, which seek to provide impactful solutions within their communities. 

Public voting for the competition's top team is now open, running until February 27, 2026, with the winning team set to be announced on February 28 at Lassonde Studios, University of Utah.

The teams, Daybreak Alarm and Daybreak Sync, Kallo, and Lockmate, have crafted unique solutions aimed at enhancing daily life through technology and security.

Daybreak Alarm and Daybreak Sync:  This team focuses on improving personal productivity and organization through their innovative alarm and scheduling applications. Their pitch emphasizes how effective time management can lead to a more balanced life, ultimately encouraging users to make meaningful changes in their daily routines. Kallo: Kallo is designed as a tracking device for children, enabling parents to monitor their whereabouts without the need for additional apps or devices. The team provides a solution that combines safety and independence, allowing parents peace of mind while empowering their kids. Lockmate With an eye toward the future of home security, Lockmate presents a breakthrough in smart security systems. This team addresses common vulnerabilities in home security and proposes a cohesive solution that integrates smart technology with traditional security measures. REHEAT offers a unique solution aimed at reducing food waste by providing an innovative way to reheat leftovers while retaining their original taste and texture. Their project showcases sustainable practices that can lead to a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Check out their video here.

Park City High School students are leveraging their experiences to develop real-world solutions to pressing problems. This competition allows them to showcase their skills while learning valuable lessons in entrepreneurship.
